"According to an article in the New York Times last week, the term 'curate' is now a 'buzzword' used by all the creative sections of society to refer to choosing, selecting and sorting. The term is gaining ground, perhaps, due to the unfathomable realms of stuff that the internet has made available. The Times suggests that it is harmless self-aggrandising to refer to ones self as a curator, though linguistics experts now believe that it has now reached a tipping point whereby nightclubs, magazines and websites will all begin to use the term, for fear of being left behind."
